Once Again
Another night you can’t recall
Another day spent sleeping through it all
She starts to wonder if it’s in your head
Or living in the darkest corners of the bed
Every morning when you learn it’s not a dream
She finds the pills to help you when you start to scream
And then you wonder where will she be?
If every day ends up like this one
Will she stick around to catch you fall?
Falling out the window by the bed
Jumping off the cliff inside your head
Will she put you back together once again?
She sees you looking through old photographs
Remembering all the things that used to make you laugh
You worry she may start to feel the same
When she’s not busy taking care of everything
In the evening as you start to fall asleep
She hears your heartbeat racing underneath the sheets
And starts to wonder, where will you be?
If every night turns out like this one
What if she’s not there to catch you fall?
Falling out the window by the bed
Jumping off the cliff inside your head
Feeling like its closer to the end…
Every morning when you learn it’s not a dream
She finds the pills to help you when you start to scream
And then you wonder where will she be?
If every day ends up like this one
Will she stick around to catch you fall?
Falling out the window by the bed
Feeling like its closer to the end
Jumping off the cliff inside your head
Feeling like its coming to an end
Will she put you back together once again?
